I’m passionate about empowering women who need some support and guidance during the transitions in life.
My specialties include career planning, employee management, organizational development, leadership enhancement, parenting skills, and edifying adolescents.
As your transitional coach, I will help you create a strategic plan to assist you with gaining clarity. I will help you stretch and grow to gently see a more empowering solution in acquiring your goals. Through powerful coaching, you will discover another perspective while overcoming limiting paradigms.

Professional Bio
Sylvia Grady Phillips is a native of San Antonio, Texas. She has lived in Houston for over thirty years. She is a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is the owner and CEO of Sylvia G. Phillips Coaching. Sylvia received her BS in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University and studied Mental Health Counseling at Capella University Graduate School.
Sylvia is a Certified John Maxwell Coach. Sylvia’s desire to maintain peace encouraged her to become a workplace and family mediator.
Sylvia has an optimistic outlook on life and knows that taking action is the fist step and, if necessary, she advocates modification in your steps. Her positive attitude encourages others to persevere and never give up on dreams. We all know that staying on course is not always an option. Therefore, Sylvia urges others to remain flexible in an ever-changing world. However, flexibility sometimes requires a shift in the way we think. Sylvia’s motto is that each should be true to self. She surmises that when you are true to self you will most often be true to others.
While many are striving to be great speakers, Sylvia understands that listening is one of the greatest gifts one can possess. She strives to be an excellent listener so that she not only hears but also understands the needs of others. Sylvia is well known for her confidentiality and professionalism. She remains true to strong values and morals and encourages others to do the same.
Sylvia spends much of her time mentoring youth and ministering to women in the crossroads of life. Her passion for seeing women rise above any occasion is demonstrated in her book, All Cried Out.
Sylvia has sat on various boards and is currently on the board of Fresh Spirit Wellness for Women. Sylvia’s clients include individuals, groups, and non-profit organizations.
